( 3 / 219 )I met Todd while my book was still in production but shared with him some romantic places to visit once he told me about his plan to get engaged in Napa, since it was one of their favorite places. We spoke for awhile and I found out that Todd was a great guy who is generally interested in helping others whenever possible and a hopeless romantic like myself.
After some conversation, and a deal to send him one of the first copies upon the book's release, I gave him some proposal ideas from our "Top Ten Napa Valley Engagements" feature and weeks later received this email and great picture from him. Congratulations!
"Thanks so much for the proposal ideas! It was great meeting you and I'm sure your book is going to be a huge success. We got the book in the mail and the timing was perfect. I already had the day set up in Napa and was able to execute the most romantic proposal right before sunset at Rutherford Hill Winery. Once she said yes (thankfully) we drank some more wine and I gave her the autographed book you sent us. It was a great way to end the day and she was really impressed I took so much time to research and plan the proposal. I've also sent our engagement photo in case you want to use it for your blog. Thanks again."
Good luck with the book,
Todd Murdoch

( 2.9 / 226 )Autumn,
We wanted to email you and tell you what a great time we had in Napa and how useful your book was to me and my wife! We had been to Napa Valley before but this time we felt like we had access to places that we would have never had known about without your book.
We especially loved Kuleto Winery, Silverado Vineyards and even stayed at the Napa River Inn based on your recommendation. We also had dinner at Ristorante Allegria al fresco which was perfect for the warm Summer evening. It was an incredible trip!
The book was also a great gift for our families back home to thank them for babysitting our one-year-old son, Caden. The book rocks and we can't wait to come back and check out more of the places in the book.
Great Job,
Tim Spaeth

( 3 / 232 )An amazing book signing event filled with friends and family from the OC, also know as Orange County. A special thanks to Akua, proprietor of Grapevine Fine Wines, for his warm and welcoming Island hospitality.
During the event we tasted wine from some of the most romantic wineries featured in Romantic Napa Valley: An Insider's Guide for Couples, including O'Brien Estate and Diamond Oaks Winery. Yummy! The ambience had a Hawaiian-feel to it with my cherished Hawaiian Family in the house, along with many other supportive friends who turned out for the event.
By the end of the evening everyone was planning their next trip to my house in the Napa Valley.

( 2.9 / 214 )It all started with a familiar glance at a friendly get together and an introduction through mutual friends that brought Angela and Orlando together. This local couple, Napa Natives, who later found out that they had went to High school together, were excited to share their beautiful impromptu engagement photo with Romantic Travel Publishing for the cover of newly released Romantic Napa Valley: An Insider's Guide for Couples. The picture was taken by local photographer John Klycinski at the Veterans Home of California in Yountville.
Under the same lush serene tree in the photo, the couple chose to marry on Summer Solstice, June 21, 2008, after a four year enchanting courtship. The couple tied the knot in a bilingual ceremony, honoring their heritage, with close friends and family surrounding them in a circle beneath the signature evergreen. Angela thought the day was as beautiful as the location. Since the wedding, their lives have been hectic with work and community-tied activities, yet both have found refuge on their rare days off under the same tree to reflect and remind them of their amazing love story.
