Not far from wine country is the beautiful Pacific Coast. Miles of sandy beach, everlasting views of the deep blue ocean and hidden coves for couples to discover private moments together.
Exploring the California Coast is one of my favorite things to do, especially as a last minute getaway. Recently, I had the pleasure of experiencing a romantic rendezvous at the newly-opened Oceano Hotel & Spa in Half Moon Bay. Less then an hour and a half from wine country, and only thirty minutes from San Francisco, Oceano is a hidden oasis. We spent the day exploring the enchanting beaches, enjoying the fresh seafood and nestling in front of the fireplace in our suite as we heard the fog horn roam.
Oceano was also having a wedding the same day, and as I looked on, I could imagine how magical the wedding must have felt being held in a such a beautiful location against the backdrop of the ocean.
Needless to say, we hope to return soon.
